2012 is in full Swing!
It has been forever since I blogged. My DH says facebook killed my blog. I think I may agree. So Much has happened this last year. I'll just do a quick update. Burt and I have been married nearly 16 years. It's been a roller coaster but has been worth every minute. I love the man more than he will ever know. AJ is doing well. He is attending an alternative High School to help make up some of his missing credits. He continues to have an awesome sense of humor and possesses the ability to charm most anyone! Mary is a Freshman at Heritage Academy and loves it. No school on Fridays is a big hit! She is growing into such a beautiful young woman. Julianna is in 7th grade and also goes to Heritage. She loves it too! Jules continues to make me so proud of because of her endless generosity. She too is growing up and I am amazed at how beautiful she is. Katelynn is 9 and in the 3rd grade. She is excelling as always. Her sweetness is contagious. Abigail is 7 and in 1st grade. She has had a rough year. She is in the process of being tested for Dyslexia and possibly some learning disabilities. She works soo hard but things still seem so difficult for her. She has the sweetest and softest heart. Emily is doing GREAT! This winter she had 0 visits to the ER! That is a new record! She loves her preschool and especially the buses! She will be going to Kindergarten next year! Sooo CRAZY! She is more than ready! Wendi has been living with our family for nearly 3 years. We couldn't imagine life without her. She loves her Facebook and all the fun games that come with it. She has some great Visiting Teachers who love to spend time with her. In Sept. 2011 Burt was officially laid off from Atwell. He was unemployed for about 6 weeks. It was a rough time financially for our family but also a bonding time. He works for RWCD now. He also has picked up some side work as a Civil Engineer and we are hoping to start his own business. I have also been busy. Almost 2 years ago I made the decision to have Gastric Bypass. It's been a long road of doctor appointments, tests, support groups and opinions, but I finally had the surgery March 29,2012. This is going to be good for not only me but my entire family.
